life's what i got, it's within my reach

today i was running late for lunch and didn't have time to dry my hair.  which, i'm not gonna lie, was a little upsetting (because i just got it cut and colored and it looks fabulous).  so i drove there with all the windows down.  and combed my fingers through my hair the whole way.  by the time i got there it was completely dry.  i think it was a defining moment in my life.  at that moment i really understood.

that's all i'm ever going to be.  and i like the idea of that.
